Carla Jo Age 44 began her musical abilities at the age of 13 years.  Being raised is a musical family her love for entertaining grew as she first started performing in a show atmosphere. Her energetic personality has allowed her the opportunities to extend her talents to audiences all across the United States. Her passion for entertaining is evident in all of her performances.

 Carla Jo’s career and years of entertainment has allowed her the opportunities to meet and perform with some of the great legends of the country and gospel music industry.  Some of the artists include: Little Jimmy Dickens, Dale Reeves, Lee Greenwood, Ronnie McDowell, Con Hunley, Jack Green, Chet Atkins, Gold City, Jeff Steel, Perry Sisters, Heirline, Michael Combs, and more….

 

Carla Jo is excited about the Silver Wings Band.  With the exception of the keyboard player this is the same band she began her career with over 25 years ago.  Her love for her family and music and joining her father and bother again to share family harmony on some of the old classic country songs excites her very much  Adding a great percussionist, lead guitar player and keyboard player as the new addition to the band completes what she believes will be one of the best bands ever.  The excitement of the entire band shows in the variety of songs and will share a style of class to meet the love of any music venue.  The music is great and wide spread and the enthusiasm in the performances will be loved by all.  Carla Jo looks forward to meeting new people.  You will enjoy her personality and wit as she and the band entertain you.

Bio of David “Bubba” Leamon

 

David “Bubba” Leamon, Age 47, began his music career by singing in church.  He also sang for 4-H and FFA clubs during his school years.  He was selected for the state FFA choir in 1978 before beginning his playing and singing with his sister and father, Carla Jo and The Country Express Band.  Bubba has shared his musical abilities over the years in many different venues.  His love to sing and play the rhythm guitar has opened many doors for him.

Bubba has once again joined his sister, Carla Jo, and his father, Roy, to resume the role of rhythm guitar/vocalist for the Silver Wings Band. His talent and passion for music will add to the overall energetic enthusiasm of the Band.  His smooth vocals will add class to each song he sings. 

Bio of Roy Leamon

 

 Roy Leamon Age 67 began his music career at the age of 12.  He began playing the guitar and traveled and played the guitar and sang with his family.  He has had his hand in music every since that time.  He played and traveled many miles sharing his musical abilities.  He has used his talent for many years.

Currently Roy is the bass player / vocalist for the Silver Wings Band.  With his versatile music ability he looks forward to rekindling his love for music and using his ability to make this band one of the most energetic bands ever. 

 

    Bio Nathan “Rockstar” Minge

 On lead guitar and vocals is Nathan “Rockstar” Minge. Hailing from Athens TN.  Nate is the showman that you have to see.  He started playing guitar at the age of 4.  Now at 27, he has evolved into a strong vocalist, energetic stage performer, and a guitarist that is classified as a virtuoso in some circles.  Nate began his music career at the age of sixteen performing with local bands.  He has also been hired by Mark Hutchinson of Legacy Productions at the Legacy Recording Studio in Athens TN as a session’s guitarist.  His list of projects in the studio includes Tyson McClain, Shane Lowe, Carla Jo Carr, and more.  Nate has been the lead guitarist for bands such as Deuces Wild, Untamed, , and Empty Chamber.  He also took the role as lead singer in Empty Chamber as well.  Nathans instruments, amps, effects, and assessories that he uses for his signature sound are Marshall Amplification, D’addario strings.  His effects include Morley, Danelectro, and Rocktron.  He plays Ibanez, Paul Reed Smith, and Fender guitars.  Nate would like to thank the manufacturers mentioned above for the best sounding, and the most reliable equipment that there is available.

Bio of Harrell “Panky” Patterson

 Panky Age 57 began his musical abilities at the age of 16 years.  He found his love for music traveling as a roadie with a local high school band.  He learned a great deal of the music business as an assistant to the drummer.  As years past he became and outstanding lead percussionist.

Panky is a very energetic percussionist and spreads enthusiasm throughout the entire band. His great personality reflects a great deal of energy for the entire group and well as the observing audiences.  He looks forward to the years ahead entertaining for a wide variety of music venues.

Bio Of Larry Hopper

 Larry Hopper, age 64, began his musical career at a young age.  His passion for music and his talent allowed him the opportunity to expand his abilities to a large area of music.  His smooth lead guitar sound won the hearts of many throughout the US.  He is still captivating audiences today with his music.
